'Dietary Fiber Helps Control Blood Sugar
Fiber-Sure

Add soluable fiber to beverages, salad dressings, baked goods, and cooked foods. Fibersure is readily availalble in your local pharmacy as well as grocery store.

Fibersure Calculator

People with diabetes need to consume 25-50 grams of fiber every day because fiber helps control blood sugar. High-fiber foods include oats and barley; whole-grain breads, cereals, and pastas; brown rice, dry beans, peas, and lentils; nuts, fruits, and vegetables. All are great sources of dietary fiber, but most people are not be eating enough of fiber foods each day.

Low carb dieters especially suffer from insufficient fiber. Low-carb chef recommends adding Fibersure to beverages, cooked foods and baked goods to increase daily fiber. It is odorless, tasteless and non-thickening.

  1. Begin adding 1 heaping teaspoon of Fibersure, per day for the first week of the diet.

(Allow your body time to get used to the increased fiber.)

  2. Add one additional teaspoon the second week, and add a third teaspoon about the third week of the diet.

  3. 3 teaspoons or 1Tbs. Fibersure adds about 15 grams fiber to the diet.

  4. 1/4 cup of Fibersure added to a recipe increases fiber by about 55 grams.

  5. When there are 4 servings in a dish, then 1/4 cup of Fibersure adds 15 grams of fiber to each serving.
