Low-Carb Chef Recipes
The recipes on this diet are divided into three levels. If you have been diagnosed with full blown diabetes,you must consult your nutritionist for their recommendations before beginning this plan. .It may be necessary to eat both Level One and Level Two recipes from the first day of the diet.
Level One Recipes
- Fastest weight loss will happen with Level One Recipes.
- Level One recipes have the fewest carbohydrates
- Level One should be followed for at least two weeks or up to several months.
- Some possible side effects.
- Constipation
- Make sure you eat the required 1/4 cup high fiber cereal and 1/4 cup low carb milk at least twice a day to prevent constipation.
- Night time muscle cramps.
- Make sure you drink at least 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water per day.
- Make sure you are also taking a daily multi vitimin.
- With the advice of your physician, you may add additional diatary suppliments.
- Calcuium plus Vitamin D
- potassium
- magnesium suppliment may also help
Level Two Recipes
- Level two allows more fruit, limited whole grain flour foods and
medium carbohydrate vegetables.
- Weight loss will be somewhat slower, but will still occur.
Level Three Recipes
Level three allows more fruit choices, increased whole grain fiber foods and high carbohydrate vegetable choices.
Increasing carbohydrate portions and food selections may cause weight gain. If weight gain happens using Level Three foods, drop back to Level One and Level Two foods.
